I won't mention the name of the hot deals forum that I frequent unless you ask me, because I think that's the right thing to do. But let me say, I'm past the point where I can help myself.

At least I'm not yet at the point of some of the helpless freaks there who have maxed out five or six credit cards, but I've lost something maybe more precious: All of my time. Aside from this place, I spend all of my time refreshing the page, hoping for a new link to some survey where I can acquire another t-shirt from some soulless company, or find a $20 cd-burner or a $400 dollar video card for only $150.

The real tragedy of it is that in searching for deals, we just impoverish ourselves.

I admit that I am addicted to hot deals and cannot help myself. There, I've said it.

Actually, "white zombie" is the secret Jamacian weapon in their fight against Caucasian imperialism. Along with marijuana, of course. (Do you realize that "rastafarianism" is mostly a product designed "for export", to turn pretentious white middle-class boys into potheads? Native Jamaicans have a much more reserved attutitude towards marijuana. Certainly, they do not condone when black people smoke it indiscriminately.)

when your house gets so full of UPS/FedEx boxes that you are unable to reach any of the exits in the event of a fire or other major emergency.

On the other hand, those boxes would keep the Debt Police from getting to you for quite some time.

I am also addicted to eBay, so those boxes come in handy.
