I am considering joining the Medical Reserve Corps. (I am a medical student)

What would be the downside? Maybe 4 times a year, I would get training on how to administer anthrax and smallpox vaccines.

I don't think Alabama is much of a terrorist target, so chances are slim that I would ever have to actually do anything.

And it would look excellent on my resume!

Surgeons perform their work by making incisions into the body. It is tradition that the most senior surgeon in the operating theatre makes the first incision. Therefore, our friend's nickname is merely stating his ambition to make the first incision.

Although I am not longer leaning toward a career in surgery. It may still be a possiblility. Other areas of medicine are looking more appealing to me at the moment.

First of all as a person who have had any college education you would know that the basics of democracy are

2 freedom
3 participation
4 no one should be left out of these things no matter what.

if it where otherwise you could havestayed udner the union jack or become a commi so the conclusion i can make is that you dropped out of highschool.

furthermore you name is sounding very spanish know isnīt it a truth that us had to fight to get land from the spanish bastards and isnt it right that the whole south america is spanish execpt for brazil. and south americans are all communist. and people in spain are either communist rebels or anti americans.

Why would you ever accuse someone with a PhD. at the end of his name of not having a high school education. Especially when you yourself cannot even formulate a comment that is in any fashion readable. If you wish to make a comment without prior sufficeint knowledge of the english language then for God's sake don't discredit their accomplishments.

Seems you are confusing the otherwise good idea of Citizen Corps with TIPS. I am all for people being prepared for bad things, being it a biowarfare attack or a flood. So First Incision, join the Med Corps. But stay away from TIPS and be prepared to protest or dash away if some idiot will try to politicize it or turn it to just another branch of State Will Enforcement Corps.
